Another weekend

Ok its only early SUnday afternoon, but its been more big days!

On Friday Rick went to Sydney for the day, so fingers crossed for us there

Saturday was footy grandfinal day, Geelong broke its 44 year drought. HAd friends over to watch it, and swim and then went to Pokies for a little while. First time Ive been, went with $20 came home with $13...was very bored lol

Today we went to the Kite Festival on at the Strand, was lovely! Here are some pics

Kalyb is getting a new bed this afternoon, and then the rugby grand final is on. Was saying to Rick the townsville slogan is definietly right- THIS IS THE LIFE- sitting on the back deck with a gentle breeze, eating bbqd banana prawns for lunch mmmmm!

Ok so its not hot enough for me to get past my ankles but the kids loved it! Coco wasnt too sure, after falling in the other week he carefully sat back and watched the kids....Im sure he was thinking they were mad!

ITS SPRING

Which is fab because I dont do winter!!

TArni lost another tooth yesterday, so she now has 2 missing on the bottom- very cute!

Look out for more pics later on today, we are heading out to the museum and maybe the army parade today, and tomorrow we are going to the Uni open day as Christine Anu is playing, and maybe Reef HQ for feeding time, which we love to watch.

Today also is the day we uplaod our challenges into www.countrypapercraft.com.au wow someone really ahs to tell me how to make links on here so you can click and go...one thing I havent learnt how to do!

Monday itis

Well TArni got student of the week! Was very exciting, but I had to work so I missed the assembly :(

Saturdays

Saturdays are our sort of lazy days. Last night we had a barbie which was wonderful, had a great time with friends, and didnt get to bed till midnight.
Today we had a lunch barbie with Mark, Alisa and the kids, which was wonderful and relaxing, we dont do it often enough. I love to eat and drink and relax with my friends.
Then Rick worked on his car while the kids slept and I ended up doing this weeks challenge for CPC. And yep, a self portrait..the kids insisted!

Sick family and scrapping

I have everyone home at the moment, kids are not well, Kalyb in particular, they all have the flu, even Rick is off ill with it. Not me though touch wood!Kalyb has managed somehow to grow 12 cms! He is now 131cm tall, and weighs all of 23 kg....JUST....

This is a page I finally did from my introductory flight lesson!

I went to my local scrap shop today- Scrapbook Shenanigans, and bought some pretties lol, also booked into a lesson- shabby chic page, its in 2 weeks, how exciting!

And finally my latest UCW party turned up today, so some lovely new clothes, and big dressing gown for Rick.....hehe. Have to start thinking of the christma pressies soon!
